Readers choice awards 2016: routers and NAS devices

Perhaps the most common question in the family today is "what's for dinner?" "Is the Internet down? "Is this the next" network that looks so slow?" "And" do you mind if I reboot my router?" "We all become very dependent on having a fast, reliable Internet connection." Of course, the home Internet no longer means a computer connected to a wired modem. A dozen or more devices are trying to share the same connection, it is not uncommon, including personal computers, smart phones, tablets, game consoles, streaming media equipment, printers, not to mention the "smart home/Internet" devices such as thermostats, light bulbs, talking robot, and lots more.
For a list of network connection devices, many also add a network connection storage (NAS) device. NAS devices allow you to store and backup on your home, so, need to by a number of personnel or equipment to access files and not all stored on a computer, when you need these files can be opened, or may not be opened. Most of the families of the NAS devices using independent units, these units insert an Ethernet port on a router, but some NAS devices have been integrated into the router, such as apple TimeCapsule.
